It has been 11 years since Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus Vishwaroopam hit the screens and took the audience by storm. The film, which was co-written, directed and produced by the versatile actor, was a spy thriller that showcased his multiple avatars and talents. The film also featured Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapur, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Nassar and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles.

To celebrate the 11th anniversary of the film, the makers have released a stunning teaser of the film that captures the essence and the brilliance of Vishwaroopam. The 40-second teaser, which was shared on social media platforms, has gone viral among the fans who are reliving their favorite moments from the film.

The teaser shows Kamal Haasan as Vishwanathan, a Kathak dance teacher in New York, who is actually a former RAW agent with a hidden identity and a connection to a terrorist group led by Omar Qureshi (Rahul Bose).

The film was praised for its technical excellence, gripping storyline, stunning action sequences, and stellar performances by the cast. The film also faced several controversies and challenges before its release, such as the DTH issue, the ban in Tamil Nadu, and the protests by some Muslim groups.
