A 5th standard student in TN pens a letter to CM MK Stalin: Here's what he demanded!

Setting a remarkable precedent that age doesn't matter to address the issues and disparities directly to the Chief Minister and people's representatives, a student of Class 5 in Tamil Nadu had penned a letter to Chief Minister MK Stalin and demanded that the standard of the government school must be upgraded to that of a private institution.

According to reports, Mahapatanjali is a student of Class 5 in a government school in Thuraiyur, Trichy district. With a view of seeking MK Stalin's attention towards the school and to act upon the resolution passed at the gram sabha meeting in his village two years back. He also had highlighted the number of the resolution that was adopted to conduct extra-curricular activities in the school.

He had addressed to the Chief Minister and to School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi in which he said that the students belong to the poor and agricultural backgrounds are coming to the government school and he requested the Chief Minister to enhance the standard of the school to that of the private schools by providing the facilities and infrastructure.

Mahapatanjali had attended the gram sabha meeting two years ago and noted the resolution that was adopted to bring computer class, smart class, yoga, and handwriting class to the government school. However, as these classes are yet to reach the school, he had now written to the Chief Minister as one of the students of the school and demanded the introduction of these classes and upgrade the school to the standard of the private institution.

He also had erected the placards in the school that several legendary people like former Indian President APJ Abdul Kalam and ISRO Chairman Sivan had reached more heights by studying at the government schools. After knowing his interest and that he had written to the Chief Minister, the village residents are lauding the student and his efforts to bring high-class education to his village.
