Exactly one day after having shot and killed his friend, the prime accused has today surrendered in Chengalpattu court in Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu amidst the searches of the two special teams set up the police department to locate his whereabouts.

The state of Tamil Nadu had encountered the horrific crime scene in Kanchipuram district on Tuesday where an 18-year-old teenager has died after he was allegedly shot in the head by his close friend. After having been reported with the crime and gun shooting, the police department had rushed to the spot where they identified the victim as Mukesh and the accused as Vijay who lived in Venkatamangalam in Kanchipuram which rests around 15 kilometers southwest of Shollinganalur, Chennai. The reports say that Mukesh was a student studying in the polytechnic college in the outskirts of the city while his close friend turned killer Vijay works in a food delivery company. 

The sources from the police department ascertained that the incident took place around 11.30 am on Tuesday when Mukesh visited Vijay's house to meet him who was inside the house. After hearing the gunshots, Vijay's brothers who were outside hopped in the house where they spotted Mukesh surrounded by blood and Vijay allegedly left the house while one of his brothers alerted the neighbors and Mukesh's family following which Mukesh was taken to the hospital. By citing major injuries, Mukesh was transferred to multiple hospitals - initially rushed to a private hospital in Vandalur from where he was referred to the government hospital in Chrompet after which he was taken to Rajiv Gandhi Government general hospital, where he was declared dead.

The police sources have said that the First Information Report is yet to be filed in the case as no official complaints have been lodged by Mukesh's family till now and while they had installed two special teams to locate the accused, he has surrendered in Chengalpattu court today and the police department will likely to take him under the custody to interrogate the base of the gun and the reason behind shooting his close friend.
