Actor Simbu's father T Rajendar to return to Chennai after completing his treatment: Latest pics go viral!

Veteran actor and director T Rajendar, who is the father of actor Simbu, will be returning to Chennai from the United States after completing his month-long medical treatment. His latest pictures have been going viral on social media and they have a relief to the fans and fraternities that the popular thespian is doing stable and he is fine to come home.

In May this year, T Rajendar was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai after he developed chest pain. After doctors found out that the veteran actor has internal bleeding in his stomach, he was advised to get further treatment in the United States. He flew to the US with his family members including actor Simbu. Weeks after his hospitalization, Rajendar had shown signs of recovery after which Simbu has come back to India to resume his movie projects. 

Now, Rajendar has completely recovered and he is all set to fly back to Chennai. According to reports, he will be arriving in Chennai on Friday- July 22. The reports say that actor Simbu will issue an official statement concerning his father's health condition and his arrival in Chennai. Social media are filled with pictures of T Rajendar in the United States. 

A video clip in which T Rajendar hugs and kisses his son Simbu has been getting shared rampantly. It has also been reported that Rajendar will be meeting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin to express his gratitude for the latter for his assistance with his medical treatment. T Rajendar, who is popularly known as TR, has predominantly worked in Tamil movies as a director, playback singer, scriptwriter and actor. 

Simbu, after the blockbuster success of 'Maanaadu', has a handful of projects in his kitty. He is currently acting in 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' helmed by Gautam Vasudev Menon and in 'Pathu Thala' directed by Obeli Krishna. The music for these two movies is composed by AR Rahman while Pathu Thala also co-stars actors Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
