After Superstar this acclaimed director hails the Vetrimaaran's recent hit Viduthalai 1!

Director Seenu Ramasamy, who is known for his realistic and sensitive films like Thenmerku Paruvakaatru and Dharma Durai, has expressed his admiration for Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai Part 1, which released on March 31. The film is a period crime thriller that revolves around the hunt for a rebel leader and a constable who gets caught in the crossfire.

Seenu Ramasamy took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the film. He wrote, "There's more to promoting a film than just making money. My friend Vetrimaaran depicted this in his movie Viduthalai. It has given brother Soori, a gifted performer and main character. Congratulations."

The technical crew includes the cinematography by R. Velraj who captures the mood and atmosphere of the period and the locations. The music by Ilaiyaraaja adds to the emotional impact of the film. The editing by Kishore T.E. ensures that the film maintains a tight pace and does not lose focus.

Viduthalai Part 1 is based on the short story Thunaivan (Companion) by B. Jeyamohan, and stars Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. The film has received critical acclaim from critics and audiences alike for its gripping narrative, powerful performances and technical excellence. The film has also been praised by superstar Rajinikanth, who called it a ‘masterpiece’. The film is produced by Elred Kumar under the banners of RS Infotainment and Grass Root Film Company. 

Viduthalai, Part 1 is the first of a two-part series. The sequel will come out later this year. Vijay Sethupathi is brilliant as Vaathiyar, who exudes charisma and authority as the leader of the rebels.The film is a tribute of those who risk everything to stand up for what they believe in and a statement against the abuse of authority.
