After a thunderous hit of 'Vikram', Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan gets ready for his next big masterpiece!

The Kollywood monster Kamal Haasan, owning the success of his recent thunderous hit, 'Vikram', without settling with sums briskly, began to look forward to the long-time shelved and most anticipated project, 'Indian 2', helmed by Shankar who made the part one in 1996.

The earlier report suggested that the shooting of this big masterpiece would be getting resumed after Shankar wrap his film RC15' with Ram Charan. But it looks the terrific duo will soon start working, reportedly by the August end. The crew also has an additional job to pick two stars alternate to late comedian-actor Vivekh and Kajal Agarwal, who was recently blessed with a baby boy. 

The known crew members are - Sidharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Aishwarya Rajesh for a notable part, and Delhi Ganesh. By scoring ear-rocking soundtracks for Kamal Hassan's previous film, 'Vikram', Anirudh Ravichandran was roped in for this project too. Lyca Productions is producing what has been touted as a humongous project in everyone's career. 

According to the latest reports, Kamal Haasan has flown to the United States for making preparations for Indian 2 and the legendary actor will be there for three weeks. The movie team has planned to resume this September. Entertainment Industry Tracker Ramesh Bala took us to Twitter and wrote "#Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan has gone to the US for #Indian2 preparation work... He will be there for 3 weeks..." He added that the shooting will resume in September. 

Part one of the movie was released in 1996 and it was made as an action thriller film where Kamal Haasan will fight against corruption. Kamal Hassan played dual roles and paired with Manisha Koirala and Sukanya. The music for the first part of the Indian movie was scored by A R Rahman. The sequel idea was picked by producer A M Rathnam, when Anti-Corruption leader Anna Hazare was active, thought it would be appropriate to produce the film for the audience, and got closed. Later in 2017, Kamal and Shankar brought back the project to make it alive and the fans hope that Indian 2 will hit the screens next year.
