Aishwarya Rajesh's Farhana teaser is here! The upcoming thriller promising a striking social drama

Aishwarya Rajesh, who has been impressing the audience with her versatile roles, is all set to play a telecaller in a call center that deals with sensitive content in her upcoming film Farhana. The film, directed by Nelson Venkatesan of Oru Naal Koothu and Monster fame, was initially slated to release on January 2023, but got postponed due to unknown reasons. Now, the makers have announced that the film will hit the screens on May 12, 2023.

The teaser of the film was released today and it showed Aishwarya Rajesh as Farhana, a Muslim girl who works in a call center that caters to the fantasies of men.  Actress Rashmika Mandanna took to Twitter to share the teaser of the film, and wrote, “We all have the power to rise above our circumstances. Here is the teaser for #Farhana and get ready to witness her world in theatres near you from May 12.”

The teaser also hinted at the challenges and struggles that Farhana faces in her personal and professional life. The film promises to be a bold and brave attempt to explore the dark side of the call center industry. Farhana also stars Selvaraghavan, Jithan Ramesh, Aishwarya Dutta, Kitty, and Anumol in pivotal roles.

The film has music composed by Justin Prabhakaran, cinematography by Gokul Benoy, and editing by VJ Sabu Joseph. The film is produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under their banner Dream Warrior Pictures.

Farhana is expected to be another milestone in Aishwarya Rajesh’s career, who has been delivering back-to-back hits with films like Ka Pae Ranasingam, Bhoomika, Thittam Irandu, and Boomika. She will also be seen in films like Driver Jamuna, Idhu Vedhalam Sollum Kadhai, Dhruva Natchathiram, and Tuck Jagadish.
