‘Lal Salaam’. directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, which was released today, 9th February 2024, is a political drama that revolves around the world of sports and the role of Rajinikanth as a visionary leader and a reformer.

‘Lal Salaam’ boasts of an ensemble cast that includes Vishnu Vishal, Vikranth, Senthil, Thambi Ramaiah, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Vivek Prasanna, and Thangadurai.

One filmbuff wrote, "#LalSalaam (3.5/5) - The film really shines in its second half where there are so many good emotional scenes - loved @vikranth_offl 's heartbreaking turn in the story and @TheVishnuVishal 's character transformation portions. The climax is a BEAUTY".

Actor SJ Suryah extended his congratulations to the team, wrote, "Congrats and all the best for the great success director @ash_rajinikanth mam  I was told by one VIP who witnessed Ur effort , when super star had a big health issue … U took a very great effort like arranging flight , going to abroad, speaking to doctors all over world like a tigress U worked when I see this pic I am recollecting the things I heard  Salaam “Lal Salaam”.

The film's music has been composed by AR Rahman, who has collaborated with Aishwarya for the first time. The film is produced by Lyca Productions, and has cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy and editing by B. Pravin Baaskar, who have given the film a realistic and gritty look.
