AK62 Buzz: Director Magizh Thirumeni to rope these stars as the leads... Here's what we know

Ajith Kumar has signed up for his next project 'AK 62' according to reports the film was officially launched with a pooja ceremony in Chennai recently. However, there has been no official announcement made yet. Rumors are rife about the film's casting. Magizh Thirumeni, the director of this upcoming movie, is reportedly considering approaching Arya for the main antagonist role instead of Arun Vijay.

If it came true, this would be a reunion for the duo, who had previously worked together in the action-packed thriller 'Meaghamann' in 2014. And their dynamic chemistry was well appreciated by the audience. And both Arya and Ajith already collaborated in Aarambam, it would be interesting to see the reunion again on screen.

There are also reports that Arulnithi might be roped in for a powerful role in the movie. All these rumors are causing a stir among fans, who are eagerly waiting for an official announcement from Lyca Productions, the movie's production house.

So far as versed, Anirudh Ravichander is said to be the music director and  cinematographer Nirav Shah who worked in Thunivu, has been roped on for the project. And some speculative reports from insiders' claims that Kajal Agarwal to be the film's leading lady. Sources say that Magizh Thirumeni team are taking steps to announce the film within the next week, and the title, will be released in an exceptional way.

On the other hand, Ajith Kumar has announced that he will be going on a bike tour, which referred to as the "Ride for Mutual Respect", after finishing the work on the movie. The actor's manager, Suresh Chandra, confirmed the news on Twitter, and fans couldn't be more thrilled to see Thala hit the road. Meanwhile, Arya has taken to Twitter to share his excitement about the sequel to his superhit movie 'Sarpatta Parambarai'.
