From alien craft to a non-human pilot: A look at the bombshell revelations at the US Congressional hearing on UFO!

Living in the vast, expanding, and intriguing space of the Universe, we, the humans, are repeatedly stuck with a question - Are we alone in this immeasurable enigma of space and in the infinite clusters of galaxies? It was this question that has been evasive with no accurate answer and when it was answered finally, how it will impact our lives. how we will react to it, and how will the Earth accept it will be another paramount question.

The topic of possible existence of extraterrestrial beings would combinedly haunt and excite us. We, the Earth, have spent decades into delving and discovering what our outer space has in its kitty and whether we have galatical neighbours - not the planets but the advanced civilizations like us. Our search would render a mysterious evidence like flying objects that we have no idea about its origins, which led us to label them Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO).

These UFOs that were spotted across the world for decades have sparked a question of 'Are we being watched? and triggered a sense that we aren't alone. The United States, in the midst of a strong global feeling that the American government is hiding the secrets about the Aliens, have been carrying out its investigation into Aliens behind the screens and when the matter was widely discussed in the public domain, the US government has recently revealed that it has been investigating hundreds of UFO sightings.

Earlier this April, an official from the US Department of Defense has confirmed that the US government is investigating more than 650 potential UFO sightings and the visuals of the sightings showed that the UFOs fly in supersonic speed. Though the Defense Department claimed that the objects remained a mystery, it had said that there is no credible evidence that the UFOs came from outer space and went on to say that such objects may have been developed by China.

The US, with its recent hunt down of what it called a Chinese spy balloon, wished to keep its research on Aliens under the table and termed such UFOs as spy crafts, drones, and balloons. So far, the US government stood till the line of admitting that its investigating the UFO sightings. Even in January 2023, the Office of the US Director of National Intelligence acknowledged that it had tracked a total of 510 UFO sightings since 2005. In these sightings, some of them remained unexplained and exhibited unusual flight characteristics or performance.

On the question of whether it possess any evidence supporting the Alien lives, the US government remained tight-lipped due to which the readers would find the latest revelations 'bombshell' and 'disturbing'. Yes, the current events that came to light would imply that Aliens are real and that the US has a piece of evidence. From the US Congressional Hearing on the UFOs that was held on Wednesday - July 26, one would take new and eerie takeaways about the extraterrestrial lives.

During the House's Oversight subcommittee's hearing on UFOs, a former intelligence official told the elected lawmakers that the US government is sheltering an alien spacecraft. David Grusch, a former intelligence official turned whistleblower, shook the nation with his admissions and joining him in the hearing were two former Navy fighter pilots David Fravor and Ryan Graves and they had described their encounters with the UFOs, also referred to as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP). Let's take a look at some top revelations made by these three witnesses,

  • David Grusch had turned whistleblower last year and during the hearing that lasted for over two hours, he said that the Congress has been kept in the dark about UFOs and that the executive branch agencies have withheld information on these mysterious objects for years. He said, "My testimony is based on information I have been given by individuals with a longstanding track record of legitimacy and service to this country, many of whom also shared compelling evidence in the form of photography, documentation, and classified oral testimony."
  • By revealing that the US government is sheltering alien spacecraft, Grusch further said that he absolutely believes that the government is in possession of the non-human pilots who piloted that spacecraft. He also disclosed details about UFO crash retrieval and reverse-engineering program, which he was denied access to despite his role in investigating the programs. He also told the lawmakers that the US government has discovered non-human intelligent life in the 1930s.
  • During the hearing, a US lawmaker Tim Burchett has asked Grusch if he had personal knowledge of people who have been harmed or injured in efforts to cover up or conceal the extraterrestrial technology. Grusch replied in the affirmative and when Burchett further asked whether people have been killed as part of a government effort to hide UFOs, Grusch said he could not talk about it in a public session.
  • Former Navy pilots David Fravor and Ryan Graves had described their experiences with UFOs during their missions. Graves said that he encountered dark grey or black cubes inside a clear sphere, while Fravor recalled encountering a large object off the coast of California in 2004 during his flight and that object had exhibited capabilities beyond current material science. Fraves said that the UFO he saw over the Pacific Ocean could be a serious threat.
  • All three witnesses stood on the same page when stating that the current reporting systems are insufficient to investigate UFO encounters. They had highlighted the existence of stigma for pilots and officials seeking more transparency about their experiences. Grusch went on to accuse the US military of misusing funds to hide the UFO operations from the Congress.

The revelations from the witnesses, particularly from Grusch who said that the US government is sheltering the Alien spacecraft, were shocking and responding to the statements, the US Department of Defense has denied Grusch's claims of a coverup. Defense Department Spokeswoman Susan Gough said in a statement that the department's task force does not have any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently.

Responding to a question whether there is a life beyond Earth, US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said he doesn't have a position on the issue one way or another. He said, "What we believe is that there are unexplained aerial phenomena that have been cited and reported by pilots - Navy and Air Force. We don't have the answers about what these phenomena are." With the current revelations have added more mysteries to an already existing pile, we can assume that the answer for the long-pondering question 'Are we alone?' is slowly emerging.
