Indian superstars, who hold a special and familiar vestige among the people of all ages through their appearances on the big screen, stardom, and recognitions, have now got engaged as one family to create awareness through the small screen to the people on containing the spread of the Coronavirus. 

The spread of the global pandemic in the country has resulted in imposing unprecedented nationwide lockdown which has put over 1.3 billion people in their residences, closed the borders, shut down the companies and establishments, suspended transportation channels, and restricted the movement of the people. The nation has been reeling to combat the spread of the virus and appealing to the people to stay at home and refrain from unnecessary travels. 

The lockdown hasn't given any exceptions to the Indian superstars to act on the movies. They have been locked up inside their residences with their families and they have been extending their contributions for the government to fight against the virus. Apart from keeping the donations, they have now turned to be one family on creating awareness for the people to stay indoors.

It's indisputable that these names and faces would reach across the directions and make ardent effect among the people on the necessity of being in the home at this crucial time and this family of superstars come to us through the short film 'Family' through which they offer some tips along with the awareness to spend the lockdown period by staying in the home. This short film, which runs for four minutes, has brought the giants of all languages under one screen of what it has become a fun-filled reunification with the message.

The short film was directed by Prasoon Pandey, who had a tough task of uniting the stars and what more important is, all these superstars have acted their role from their respective residences in their hometowns. Bollywood Big B Amitabh Bachchan, Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi, Reputed Malayali stars Mamooty and Mohanlal, Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Priyanka Chopra, Singer Diljit Dosanjh, and Kannada Actor Shiva Rajkumar have featured in the short film. 

The short film was released on April 6th and earning more views on Youtube since the release as this could be the perfect and rare opportunity to witness the megastars in one-screen. The short film was nicely conceptualized, well cinematograph-ed with leaving no clue to find out that the film was shooted at different locations. Mohanlal's play of reading journals, Alia Bhatt's play of doing Yoga, and Shiva Rajkumar's pile-up of books are leaving the suggestions on how can we spend our days at home during the lockdown.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and tweeted the short film in which he stated that "You can be distant and you can be social. A great video with relevant messages. Have a look." As a conclusive message, Amitabh Bachchan said that " We all made this film together, but none of us ever stepped out of our respective house. Every artist shot their own section in their own house". He ends the film by airing his message, and in fact, the message of the short film, "You too please stay indoors, this is the only way to keep yourself safe from the virus. Stay home, stay safe".
