Diwali is two weeks ahead and while the ardent fans of Superstar Rajinikanth are preparing to celebrate the festival through the movie 'Annaatthe', Vijay fans are now expecting not to miss celebrating their favourite star during the occasion as they are getting ready for a big gift from Vijay. Kollywood has been buzzed up with strong speculation that Vijay's next 'Beast' has been baking something special for the fans on Diwali. 

According to reports close to the developments, the Beast team has been planning to release the first single of the movie on the occasion of Diwali. Though there is no official confirmation, the sources say that it will be made soon and Vijay fans would have a Diwali delight from the actor and the movie team. The movie has been inching closer to wrap up the shooting, giving a prediction that it may clash with Ajith's 'Valimai' during Pongal 2022. 

The makers had completed the first two schedules of filming in Georgia and Chennai. In August this year, the movie had completed the third phase of the shooting. While Beast is bankrolled by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, it is directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar and it is the first outing for Vijay with Nelson. Touted to be an action thriller film, Vijay plays the lead role in the movie, while Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Sathish Krishnan, and Redin Kingsley will play important roles. 

Anirudh has composed the music. Manoj Paramahamsa and Nirmal had done cinematography and editing respectively. While the movie is scheduled to release in 2022, the news of the probable release of the first single from Beast this Diwali has been going viral. Meanwhile, on Monday, Pooja Hegde, who comes to the Tamil film industry after eight years through Beast, has described her co-star Vijay as the sweetest person. The actress was asked by a fan to describe Vijay in one word by using the hashtag #AskPoojaHegde. Responding to the question, Pooja Hegde said, "One word is not enough...but...I'll try...ummm...SWEETEST."
