Another trouble for Vijay's 'Master': What producer Xavier Britto is going to do?

Ahead of the release of Vijay's much-anticipated movie 'Master', the movie has been surfaced with back to back troubles, pushing the movie team and the ardent fans of the Thalapathy to brace up for huge shocks when they are eagerly waiting for the movie release on the big screens, which would be a crucial theatrical release in Tamil Nadu after the lockdown.

While the movie team was trying to fix the shocking development after a few clips were leaked online, the fans have now witnessed another trouble after the movie's producer Xavier Britto has invited tension on Tuesday after an FIR was filed against him for illegally using other film songs without a patent at the audio launch of Master. The legal trouble against the producer has come when the theaters across and beyond the state as the movie will be getting released on January 13 - Wednesday. 

According to reports, the producer had conducted a grant event for the audio launch of the film in March 2020. The event was held in Chennai in a packed hall and during the event, few songs from other Vijay films were also played. However, this had now triggered trouble for Xavier Britto as a private company, which owns the copyrights for those songs, had approached the court by accusing Britto of playing the songs at the audio launch event without its consent. 

The court has now ordered the CBCID police to register the FIR (First Information Report) against Xavier Britto for illegally using the songs at his audio launch event without a patent. The reports say Britto would be facing the charges after the FIR is filed and he has been surfaced with speculations on what he is going to do to respond to the allegation. The movie team has been going through unanticipated developments amid anticipating the movie release. On Monday, a few movie clips were leaked online which shocked the movie team the ardent fans of Vijay, who have been addressing in social media with their appeal to the people not to share and spread the leaked scenes.

The movie team has been pressing that the film was made possible by the deep struggle of over one year with many artists and technicians are hoping to have a revival from the distressed lockdown through the movie. While the movie team was strongly expecting a hassle-free release, piracy had affected its expectations, leaving them to urge everyone not to share the leaked scenes. The movie team has been busy on social media with sharing its appeal. 

Master will be released on January 13 in theaters across the state and the release would finally be bringing the incessant wait of the fans to an end. The fans are waiting for a Master Pongal so are the theaters with the hope of having a strong revival on the corridors of revenue after the lockdown. Master is bankrolled by Xavier Britto under the banner of XB Film Creators while Lokesh Kanagaraj has directed the movie, which marks the first collaboration for 'Kaithi' director to work with Vijay. Besides the troubles, Master is ready for a grand release on Wednesday and the fans are waiting to give a much more grandeur welcome to Thalapathy Vijay on the big screens.
