Kamal Haasan has written the lyrics while Ghibran composed the music. The lyrics have been crafted to exhibit the power of equality, humanity, and service and it revolves around displaying the visuals of thousands of migrant workers across the country who ought to get stranded after the government has imposed the lockdown suddenly by giving short time for the country to get settled down for the unprecedented experiment.
It powerfully orates how the workers have been treated in the country starting from showing the video of how the Uttar Pradesh government had sprayed disinfectant to the mass group of people in public to the workers crowded in the bus stations, walking on foot on the highways to reach their homes, which has been one of the toughest passages carried out by many, some have arrived at the destination and some have departed the world.
The song ends by showing the visuals of Lord Buddha, Thiruvallur, Periyar, Subramania Bharati, Gandhi, Ambedkar, and CN Annadurai and largely iterates that 'Love, humanity, and equality live forever'. This has been one of the platforms that Kamal Haasan has kept his voice against the sudden announcement of the lockdown.
Earlier, he had directly penned the open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he criticized the government on imposing the nationwide lockdown without considering the lives of the poor and the actor has linked the decision to that of demonetization. He also criticized the center as a balcony government, referring to Modi's appeal to the people to clap hands and light candles on the balconies. On Wednesday, Kamal Haasan has released the lyrics of the song on his Twitter.
