Articles 370 and 35A have been revoked!

In the middle of fueling unrest, the Union Home minister Amit Shah, who had been scheduled to issue the Central government's statement on the Kashmir unrest, had now shaken the Parliament and the entire nation with proposing the government's agenda to revoke Articles 370 and 35A which had constituted with special status for the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking in the Upper house, Home minister, ahead of the high level cabinet meeting in Prime minister's residence, had tabled the government's move of scrapping those articles from the Indian constitution by shaping the state of Jammu and Kashmir with the provisions of the rest of the Indian states by having removed the articles.

There were much speculations around the ongoing Kashmir issue, where the Central armed and paramilitary forces have been stationed across the state of Jammu and Kashmir , on the possibilities of demeaning and degrading the articles 370 and 35A and the government's action of deploying thousands of troops were seen as the precautionary measures to enhance the security grid among the state to combat the violence which may erupt aftermath of such announcement from the government. The state had witnessed the unrest over the camping of troops which had brought uncertainty over the troubling developments where the ongoing Amarnath pilgrims and tourists has been called off to end their tour and vacate the valley and most of the colleges and universities remained closed without further notice where it had ordered the students to vacate their hostel stays. The state government under the President had issued an order of suspending the communications platforms of internet and mobile networks to ban further spreading of unrest.

The government, as to keep the heat alive, had imposed section 144 curfew yesterday across the state which had merely brought under huge surveillance of the armed forces who was seen barricading the streets and roads preventing residents to have unwanted gathering. The local residents were ought to witness the situation which screen played the pictures of emergency period the country had undergone in 1970s, where they had seen storming to the stores to stock up their essentials. The tensions were deepen after the authorities have kept the state leaders Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti under house arrest in the view of restrictions.

As the situation has been kept with live unrest, the residence of the Prime minister Modi in capital had hosted the cabinet meeting along with cabinet committee on security ahead of which, the reports said that Union Home minister Amit Shah was expected to unleash important announcements of the government on Kashmir and its when he took his microphone in upper house with an anticipation from the entire nation.

Soon after he commenced his speech, Amit Shah had table a resolution in Rajya Sabha to revoke and scrap the Articles 370 and 35A from the constitution which will bring the special status ,the state had since the independence , to an end. While tabling such sensitive resolution, Amit Shah had urged the MPs to discuss the resolution of revoking the articles which will seek to conclude the autonomic governance in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

The reports say that the special status will be dismantled from today which will shape the state into its new chapter of its unopened books which will constitute the state in merging with the Central government as like the rest of the states where it will lose its special provisions of six years legislative validity, independent decision on law and order and its priorities for its permanent residents.. It now forms Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh into two new union territories with the important powers vested with Delhi and the union territories will be entitled to every law of the Central goverment.

Soon Amit shah had tabled the resolutions, the opposition parties in both houses of the Parliament had unanimously rose against the resolution where the Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad had proclaimed that by provoking the articles, the government not only murdered the constitution but also murdered the democracy while the state leader and former Chief minister Mehbooba Mufti had called today as a darkest day in Indian democracy.

Despite the accusations and criticism, the BJP led Central government had unfolded the speculations which were on high since last week in Kashmir that the state won't be fall under the grounds of special status any more.

Eventually, by provoking and scrapping the Articles 370 and 35A, Modi and Amit Shah duo had again scripted the history in their vision of "One India."
