Arvind Swami brings MGR back on screen: Perfect look goes viral...

Arvind Swami is now under the clouds of agog and expectations after he released the photos of his upcoming movie 'Thalaivi' in which he had indisputably shown why he was the perfect choice for touching the story that reprises legendary and iconic MG Ramachandran (MGR) in the picture, that has been in the lights of expectations from the audiences. 

Arvind Swami is one of the popular actors in the Indian cinema industry for the last three decades and he rose to fame through his splendid acting in 'Thani Oruvan', and 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'. Being regarded as one of the charming actors, Arvind Swami has now taken a major and crucial task in his career as he going to act as MGR in 'Thalavi', which is a biopic based on the life of late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. 

The biopic is directed by AL Vijay and while Arvind Swami plays as MGR, Bollywood star Kanaga Ranaut would be playing as Jayalalithaa. On Thursday, during the death anniversary of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Founder of ADMK MG Ramachandran, Arvind Swami has released his look which has neared its perfection as Arvind Swami can be seen closely resembling MGR and he can be seen wearing signature costumes of MGR and sitting with the school children, which reprises MGR's picture of eating food with the school children as part of his nutritious meal programme.

Through acting as MGR, Arvind Swami's fans say that he had brought MGR back on the big screen. Taking to Twitter, Arvind Swami said, "It was not just an honour to play the role of Puratchi Thalaivar MGR, but a great responsibility. I thank director A.L. Vijay & producers @vishinduri @shaaileshrsingh for having faith in me. I humbly post these pics in Thalaivar’s memory, today". 

The award-winning makeup artist Pattanam Rasheed was the man behind Arvind Swami's look of turning him why he is a perfect choice to reprise MGR. The shooting of 'Thalaivi' was recently wrapped up and the movie of Jayalalithaa's story has been slated for a release by next year. Earlier, Jayalalithaa's niece J Deepa went to the Madras High Court with her objection against the filmmakers for making the biopic of her aunt. However, the high court had rejected the lawsuit and gave a go-ahead for the movie. 

The movie has roped in Madhoo to play the role of Sasikala, the closest aide of Jayalalithaa. The movie is written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, known for writing the blockbuster story of 'Baahubali'. The biopic will be produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh Singh under the banners of Vibri & Karma Media and Entertainment. The movie will be released in three languages - Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi and while GV Prakash Kumar composes music, reputed Nirav Shah has been roped in for cinematography. 

Speaking to a news agency about Arvind Swami's role, director AL Vijay said Arvind Swami is a perfectionist and he had watched lots of old films and footage of MGR and attended several workshops to right fit into the body language and mannerisms of MGR. Arvind Swami had tried eight looks before finally getting the current look.
