In a recent revelation, acclaimed filmmaker Atlee expressed his admiration for actor Ajith Kumar and disclosed his eagerness to collaborate on a compelling project. Atlee, known for his directorial prowess, shared his enthusiasm about the potential collaboration during a candid conversation. According to the director, he holds a deep appreciation for Ajith Kumar and has a script ready that promises to be a game-changer.

"I like Ajith sir a lot," Atlee affirmed, adding that he has approached Suresh Chandra multiple times, expressing his desire to narrate a story to the renowned actor. Despite the project not materializing yet, Atlee remains optimistic, stating, "When it happens, it's gonna be a blast."

Atlee revealed the camaraderie between him and Ajith Kumar, citing a supportive gesture during his tough times. The director spoke highly of the actor's gentlemanly nature and recounted an amusing incident when Nayanthara introduced them during the shoot of 'Arrambam.' Ajith Kumar, observing Atlee, humorously remarked, "Have you finished school?" reflecting his friendly demeanour.

Currently basking in the success of his latest release, 'Jawan,' Atlee has made a significant mark in the Hindi film industry with this directorial debut starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone. 'Jawan' has become the highest-grossing Indian film of the year, amassing a staggering $138.6 million globally within nine days of its release.

Produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment, the film has not only set new benchmarks in terms of box office numbers but has also garnered critical acclaim for Atlee's directorial finesse. The success of 'Jawan,' grossing over Rs 735 crore globally in just nine days, solidifies Atlee's position as a director capable of delivering blockbusters that surpass the success of his previous ventures.
