Popular filmmaker Selvaraghavan has been keeping himself busy with multiple projects at once. Following the release of the teaser of his next directorial 'Naane Varuvean', starred by Dhanush, the big update regarding the release of his next acting project is out. The filmmaker is playing the lead role, in a never seen avatar, in the movie 'Bakasuran' directed by Mohan G, who is known for his previous movies 'Draupathi' and 'Rudhra Thandavam'.
Selvaraghavan's performances in movies like 'Saani Kaayidham' and 'Beast' have already garnered him adulation. The release of Bakasuran has finally been announced and he will soon be enthralling the audience with his terrific action. In Bakasuran, the multi-faceted actor and director has portrayed a sincere and vengeful countryman. The teaser itself received a lot more positive feedback and first-look posters are a big draw.
In a brief video for the film's release announcement, Selvaraghavan says, "Murpagal Seyyin Pirpagal Vilayum". The announcement video was released on Thursday - September 15 and it runs for twenty seconds. As per the update, Bakasuran will be getting released in November 2022, though the makers didn't reveal the release date.
Sharing the update, a popular film critic wrote on Twitter, "Sensational Bakasuran is ready for the wild hunt. Tamil Nadu Theatrical release by SSI Production. This November in theatres!!." Bankrolled by GM Film Corporation, Bakasuran stars Selvaraghavan and Natty (Nataraj) in the lead roles. The teaser of the movie already hinted at the theme of Karma, which revolves with wicked things around young women in modern society and a disturbed man shouldering the duty to harm the sinners.
Veteran actor Radha Ravi, Rajan K, and Saravanan Subbiah are playing vital roles. Sam CS has composed the music Devaraj S and Farook J Basha have handled editing and cinematography respectively. Mirattal Selva has choreographed action sequences while Johny has composed dance moves. The movie teaser has already stormed over a million views within a day of release.
