Bharathiraja to join shooting of his next project...A popular director reveals in his letter!

Legendary director Bharathiraja, who is hospitalized in Chennai for the past ten days, is all set to return to the sets and join the shooting of his next project later this month. Bharathiraja's comeback is revealed by popular director Suseenthiran in his letter that he penned on Friday - September 2. Earlier, it was reported that Bharathiraja will walk back home in a few days as he is getting recovered gradually. 

Suseenthiran is popularly known for his movies 'Naan Mahaan Alla', 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu', 'Azhagarsamiyin Kuthirai', and 'Eeswaran'. He has a busy 2022 with already witnessing two releases so far. After completing 'Veerapandiyapuram' and 'Kutram Kutrame', Suseenthiran has begun the work on his third movie of the year 'Valli Mayil'.  

Legendary director Bharathiraja is playing an important role in 'Valli Mayil'. However, as Bharathiraja is now hospitalized, Suseenthiran has said that the veteran filmmaker would join the movie shooting later this month. In a letter, Suseenthiran cited he met Bharathiraja in the hospital and that the latter has agreed to join the shooting for the movie. 

In his letter that he released on Friday, Suseenthiran penned, "Greetings to everyone. I am happy to announce that we have started the second phase of the shooting of the movie Vallimayil from today (2.9.2022). The shooting will take place in Dindigul, Madurai, and Tenkasi for 32 days. Yesterday (1.9.2022) I met and talked to Bharathiraja Appa in the hospital. He said that he will attend our shoot later this month. Looking forward to working with Bharathiraja Appa again"

The movie's first look poster was unveiled by the makers in June. Valli Mayil is starred by Vijay Antony and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles. Bharathiraja, Sathyaraj, Thambi Ramaiah, Sunil, Redin Kingsley, Manisha Yadav, and Aranthangi Nisha will be playing crucial roles. The movie is bankrolled by Thai Saravanan while D Imman composes the music. 

Suseenthiran earlier spilled a few deets about his latest flick. He said, "Valli Mayil is an action thriller set in the mid-80s. The film is named after the female lead character. Vijay Antony plays a cop in the film. Very few stories lend themselves to be made in multiple languages and this is one of them". "Valli Mayil is going to be simultaneously released in five languages—Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. We finished the first schedule in 28 days. It’s a period film we are building a lot of sets and it’s a different experience from what I have done before." he added.
