The big news is here...Back-to-back updates on Ajith's Thunivu and it's release date!

H Vinoth's directorial Thunivu has become the talk of the town with major updates on Friday relating to the movie's theatrical release that took the fans into agog. It has been officially reported that Thunivu would lock horns with Vijay's 'Varisu' during Pongal 2023. 

In an interesting update, Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies on Friday announced that it has acquired the distributing rights of Thunivu, which has turned heads as it is the first time in recent years that Udhayanidhi is collaborating with Ajith. Taking to Twitter, Red Giant Movies announced, "Here's the big news! We're beyond excited to announce our association with Ajith Kumar's Thunivu. Get ready for Thunivu Pongal." 

Through the announcement, Red Giant Movies affirmed that Thunivu is going to get released during Pongal 2023. While Udhayanidhi's production house has brought the distribution rights, Netflix has acquired the streaming rights of Thunivu and Kalaignar TV has purchased the satellite rights. Thunivu is bankrolled by Boney Kapoor under his banner Bayview Projects and it is the third consecutive movie that Ajith is working with Boney Kapoor and director H Vinoth. 

Boney Kapoor on Friday -October 28, shared the same and officially announced that the movie will be released for Pongal 2023. The first and second look posters featuring Ajith in an ultra-cool avatar were released a few weeks ago and received more than maximum reception among the buffs. They are next thriving for the updates regarding teaser and furthermore exciting updates. 

Thunivu is being made as a bank heist thriller and while Ajith plays the lead role, Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, and GM Sundar play important roles. Ghibran has composed the music while Nirav Shah and Vijay Velukutty have done cinematography and editing respectively.
