Big promise from Udhayanidhi Stalin to RRR's director Rajamouli!

Baahubali fame Rajamouli's next magnum opus 'RRR' is all set for a big theatrical release during the first week of January. The movie team, after successfully bringing an ensemble cast under one roof, has now been busy promoting the movie across and beyond the borders. With the trailer of the movie is already released and gained massive welcome, it has been touted that RRR will be one of the significant movies of 2022.

As the movie team and fans are eagerly awaiting the release, actor-turned-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin has now given a big promise to Rajamouli as RRR aims to have a successful opening in Chennai and in the Tamil market. The movie team has organized a pre-promotion event in Chennai on Monday - December 27 and the event was attended by Udhayanidhi Stalin and actor Sivakarthikeyan as the Chief Guests. Through his address, Udhayanidhi Stalin has given a promise, concerning the RRR release in Chennai. 

He said, "Red Giant Movies (his production house) will be releasing RRR movie at three places in Tamil Nadu. Director Rajamouli has desired that his film 'Maaveeran' should get screened at Sathyam Theatres. Maaveeran was released and screened as per his desire. I now promise him that RRR will be screened in five of the six screens in the Sathyam Theatres." It is pertinent to note that Sathyam Theatre has been a top movie destination for Chennai fans, despite the league of cinema halls.

RRR has been slated to get released on January 7, 2022, in five languages including Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. The movie is touted to be a period action drama and bankrolled by DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainments. Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR has an ensemble cast with Junior NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson, and Olivia Morris. The music is composed by Baahubali fame MM Keeravani while Senthil Kumar and Sreekar Prasad had done cinematography and editing respectively. The movie is being made with a budget of Rs 400 crore.
