Superstar Rajinikanth torches fresh political buzz days after returning from the United States, where he had undergone routine medical checkups. The actor still hopes that there is a politician left in him and that he desires to launch a political party at the age of 70. Rajini's political spotlight is quite different from others and it had flittered for some years and it dimmed when his fans expected it to glow. Months after he decided not to pitch on the political field, a sudden catalyst in his mind has now brought him with different thinking, which again reignited his political spotlight. 

It was vivid in Rajini's camp that he had closed his gates for politics till last week. The gates were closed last December with a seal that it would never open. Rajini has cited the Covid pandemic as a reason for not entering politics. The superstar has got busy with his movie project and he had flown to the United States last month for medical treatment. He was there nearly for three weeks and arrived in Chennai last week. In a typical welcome, the fans greeted him at the airport and wished him good health. 

Days after arriving in Chennai, he has now seemed to have decided to unlock the closed gates and to play the political drama again. The fans, who were frustrated over his political mind, had gone baffled and perplexed over the latest developments that Rajinikanth is beginning the fresh round of talks to enter politics. However, the superstar, who has earned a reputation among the people, is still yet to draw a confidence level from his fans and members of his outfit that he won't disappoint them this time if he tends to revive his political interest, that was apparently buried by him. 

In an unanticipated development, Rajinikanth has convened a high-level meeting with the district secretaries of Rajini Makkal Mandram, his fan club that was transformed as a prelude to his political party years back. Rajinikanth has on Saturday announced that he will be heading the meeting with the secretaries on Monday and it was said that during the meeting, the actor would discuss his political entry and how the situation is on the ground.

It is clear that the situation is not in favour of him as several fans and leaders of his outfit had joined other political parties after they were disappointed over the actor's decision of staying off politics. Months after announcing his decision that he called to be his final, the actor has again twisted a tale and drawn a political spotlight towards him again over his recent decisions. The meeting with the secretaries has been organized at his Raghavendra Mandapam in Chennai on Monday.

The meeting was underway by the time of writing this content and has made headlines across and beyond the state. While most of his fans started to think Rajinikanth has already been outdated in politics, some of his others hope that he is not entirely out of politics and he can still bring change after launching a political party. The reports close to the developments say that Rajinikanth has spoken with some of the top leaders of the Rajini Makkal Mandram while he was in the United States. 

When Rajinikanth had arrived at Raghavendra Mandapam, he has given a rousing welcome by his fans and members as they celebrated Rajinikanth's decision to meet them. Some of the fans had burst crackers before the hall when the superstar arrived. His car was surrounded by the fans and after managing the crowd, he had gone inside the hall to meet the secretaries who had already arrived there. 

Prior to going to his marriage hall, Rajinikanth had addressed the reporters during which he said that he will consider coming back to politics. He said he will discuss with the leaders and claimed that a question of whether he will come to politics in the future is being surfaced. He said he will discuss this with the leaders of Rajini Makkal Mandram. His statement, which wrote a fresh prefix for his political entry, has gone viral on social media with netizens are sceptical over his political future. 

The meeting has been underway and some of the secretaries had said that the actor will discuss his political prospects in the future. However, some of the secretaries have spelt otherwise as they claimed that the actor would brief them in person on why he decided not to enter politics. Whatever is being discussed, it is clear that Rajinikanth is still yet to make his mind over taking a political plunge and the political observers say that though he decides to revive his political interest and asserts to launch the party, it is less likely will take its effect as the third wave of Covid is approaching to hit the shores and the actor may again go inside and close the doors.
