Bigg Boss fame Losliya under grief...Fans consoling her for the sudden loss!

In a shocking development, Losliya's father Mariyanesan has passed away on Sunday due to cardiac arrest. Losliya is a Sri Lankan news presenter turned actor who rose to fame by participating in Bigg Boss Tamil, the game show that has been hosted by Kamal Haasan. 

Mariyanesan was living in Canada when he breathed his last, which had shocked the growing actress, her family, and the fans. Ever since the untimely demise of her father headlined, thousands of fans and well-wishers have been paying tribute to the deceased and consoling the popular Bigg Boss contestant, who many times had spoken about her father. 

Losliya had participated in the second season of Bigg Boss and she has attained immense popularity through her participation. During the season, she spoke fondly of her father during one of its episodes. Becoming emotional, Losliya said how much she loves her father and she recalled the happy times that she spent with him. 

Surprisingly, Losliya's father had appeared in one of the Bigg boss episodes and Losliya was full of tears to see his father and the whole family in the Bigg boss house, which is one of the emotional takeaways of that season. Before the cam, Losliya's father had castigated her about the on-screen relationship that she shared with co-contestant Kavin. 

The on-screen relationship between Losliya and Kavin was one of the most talked subjects in the second season of Bigg Boss and as the sequel of that, the telecasting channel had seen a spike in its viewership. Losliya was one of the top three contestants on the show and when she exited the Bigg Boss house, she entered Kollywood with fame. 

Losliya had recently signed her first Tamil film which has been titled 'Friendship'. The movie has also roped in Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, who will be making his debut as an actor. Jointly produced by JPR and Stalin, the movie is directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Sundar of Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2. Besides Friendship, Losliya has more projects in her hand including actor Aari's next movie, which will be directed by Albert Rajaa. 

When the news of her father's demise broke out, fans took to social media and expressing their condolences and sharing pictures of the father and daughter in Bigg Boss house. Reputed Tamil director Cheran, who was one of the contestants in Bigg Boss season two along with Losliya had consoled the actress. Losliya had called Cheran as 'Appa' as he resembled close to her father Mariyanesan. 

Cheran and Losliya had a father and daughter bonding throughout the season. In his tribute note, Cheran said, "Losliya, I know how much love and dream you had for your father. This news has been shaking me. How will you bear the loss? I don't know how to console you and your family who are in unspeakable grief. My deepest condolences". Many of the fans had shared their condolences to the growing actress.
