Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij has tested positive for coronavirus, which resulted when he aided the trial dose of the Covid 19 vaccine. 
 
He announced this himself through his tweet, "I have been tested Corona positive. I am admitted in Civil Hospital Ambala Cantt. All those who have come in close contact to me are advised to get themselves tested for corona" 
 
It was found that on November 20, he volunteered himself for the trials as part of t Bharat Biotech's Covaxin, which is India's first phase 3 efficacy study for the same vaccine.  
 
On Friday, he had reported fatigue lately at Chandigarh, said his Media coordinator Vijender Chauhan.  
 
Adding to this, Haryana has over 2.4 lakh Covid cases so far including Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and the state assembly speaker - Gian Chand Gupta who had also tested positive; and 2539 were dead.
