Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan tests positive for Covid-19 for the second time!

Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for the Covid-19 viral infection for the second time. He announced that he contracted the pandemic on Tuesday and urged his close contacts to get tested. The 79-year-old legendary actor has shared the news in a post on Twitter. 

Taking to Twitter, he wrote, "I have just tested Covid+ positive...all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also...". After learning that Big B has tested positive for the pandemic for the second time, the fans and fraternities have been sending their prayers and wishes to the actor for his speedy recovery. 

The veteran actor had previously contracted Covid-19 in July 2020 along with his family members including his son Abhishek Bachchan, his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, and his granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan. He was then admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital. Currently, Amitabh Bachchan is hosting the 14th season of the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati season 14, which began recently. 

On the work front, the actor is awaiting the release of Brahmastra, the multi-starrer film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Nagarjuna, which is slated to get released on September 6. Vikas Bahl's "Goodbye", "UUnchai" and "Project K" are some of the projects in his pipeline.
