As fans celebrate Shah Rukh Khan's birthday, this surprise gift from Netflix has undoubtedly made the occasion even more special. In a delightful birthday surprise for fans, the much-awaited movie 'Jawan,' featuring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has been released on Netflix.

The OTT giant took to X, "Birthday SRK-odathu thaan ana gift-u nammalukku! Extended Cut of #Jawan is Now Streaming in Tamil, only on Netflix"  The film, directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, presents Shah Rukh Khan in a riveting dual role as a RAW agent and a menacing gangster.

In this high-octane action thriller, Khan portrays the character of Azad Rathore, a dedicated prison officer on a mission to clear his father's name, the legendary soldier Vikram Rathore, also portrayed by Khan. Azad finds solidarity among a group of formidable women prisoners who join him in his fight against prevailing injustices and deeply rooted corruption.

The film boasts an ensemble cast, including the Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance as Azad’s mother Aishwarya Rathore. Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Riddhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureishi deliver compelling performances.

'Jawan' also features cameo appearances by esteemed actors from the Tamil cinema industry, including Yogi Babu, Eijaz Khan, Sangay Tsheltrim, and Jaffer Sadiq. The film, which was released on 7th September 2023, has received widespread acclaim for its gripping storyline and stellar performances.

The film's captivating soundtrack and background score composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking his fourth collaboration with Atlee after their successful ventures 'Theri,' 'Mersal,' and 'Bigil.' The cinematography by G. K. Vishnu and the editing by Ruben contribute to the movie's visual appeal. The unexpected release of the Extended Cut of 'Jawan' on Netflix has brought immense excitement among fans, who are now indulging in the thrilling saga of Azad Rathore on the streaming platform.
