Chennai - Coimbatore Shatabdi trains  cancelled! 

Already in the crisis of Lockdown's new normal thing, people getting to take it easy to travel and use public transportation without fear, the Southern Railway has unexpectedly announced that it will stop its Chennai-Coimbatore train service shortly. 
 
Shatabdi  Trains - (06027, 06028) was running all day except Tuesdays before on both routes. But Southern Railways decided to suspend the train service after seeing people's response became very low during these days. The last train service will be on November 30, 2020. Then it will be officially stopped from the Next Day, December 1st, 2020. 
 
The Railway service was first suspended at the earlier stage of the lockdown, on March 25th, 2020. But still, for the sake of employees, who were working from out of state, the train service initiated a few special trains from May 1, 2020, by Central Government.  
 
A few days ago, the Railway ministry equipped AC train coaches with enhanced safety measures to prevent Covid spread. One of the passengers gave positive feedback on his journey on the Chennai-Coimbatore Intercity Special Train. 
  
In this situation, Coimbatore - Chennai (Train No: 06027) and Chennai - Coimbatore (Train No: 06028) special trains will be cancelled due to low passenger traffic, officially announced by Southern Railways.
