Could a silent night be this violent ? The 'Kaithi' tale!

Most of us would be having peaceful night sleeps - going to bed peacefully and waking up in the new day with more hope but we literally won't be in the awareness of how horrific our peaceful nights would be for some of the people including the policemen, criminals, drug smugglers and to many whose life are far beyond our knowledge?  'Kaithi' is one among such stories as it digs deep into the silence and peaceful nights and presented the audience with thrilling and interesting story. Movie's director Lokesh Kanagaraj seems to be fond of uncovering the pains, tears and thrillers filled in the middle of peaceful nights as his first movie 'Maanagaram' had covered the night life of Chennai city that had pictured with the moments of anxiety and with the same trend, he had now directed his second edition in which he had scripted the story of a bizarre night in Trichy. What has his second thrilling night journey exposed?

About 900 kilos of drugs worth of 840 crores were recovered by the special police force headed by task officer Naren and the smugglers who allegedly lost the package had fanatically unites with the motive of rescuing the drugs from the police and to kill them and Trichy night had hosted with more uncertainty for the police team where on the other hand, the city's top officials were trapped under critical situations and the life term convict Karthi who has been let out from the prison had forced to save the police. Karthi was supposed to reunite with her daughter..Naren must ensure that the smugglers won't recover the drugs to demean the society and the lives of the police men should be saved in front of the criminals. These were the thrilling ingredients that collectively cooked the recipe of Kaithi in one night and served to the audiences with more heat and with no sleep.

Through this movie, Actor Karthi had proved yet another time that he is exceptional in choosing the movies and scripts and like his previous movies like 'Naan Mahaan Alla' and 'Dheeran Adhikaram Ondru', his latest Kaithi would certainly gets lined up in his books of thriller and action movies and along with that 'Dream Warrior Pictures' must be lauded for producing the movies that have been impacting and presenting new experience to the audiences. The audiences were webbed into the movie from the first scene as one night, two opposite sides, new approach and heart beating plot of the story had brought the fans to the movie. The movie's inclusiveness and equal importance for all the characters had added more strength for its success.

Karthi was ought to encounter terror challenges in the terrific night and the director had succeed in passing the challenges to the feelings of the audiences that had kept the audiences near to the actor and the gap between the story and the audiences was indeed reduced by Sam's music, Lokesh Kanagaraj's story and Sathyan Suriyan's cinematography and the director had effectively coordinated and combined the aim of the actor with the audiences to have inclusive travel throughout the night and the prolifically filled travel in second half of the movie which had somehow slipped from getting attention of the audiences as the actor had portrayed that he will smash whoever comes before him.

Karthi lives and acts through his sight and his motion and his costume had reminded his debut movie of 'Paruthiveeran' and Naren must be credited as the best choice for a perfect police officer with the mixture of duties and mercy on Karthi and so the rest of the artists who have registered and justified their roles successfully. Karthi's daughter had lived in the hearts of the audiences through her innocent dialogues and nostalgic views. The cameras of Sathyan Suriyan had kept the eyes of the audiences open throughout the movie without causing boredom while the music of Sam and the editing of Philomin Raj had delivered justice for the story and the story had delivered justice for the audiences.
