The Central probe surfaced around the mysterious death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput has shockingly been unfolding the long thread of drug racket in the movie industry with the reputed stars with huge stardoms have been brought under the scanner of the drug nexus as it has been exhuming the rampant prevalence of the racket within the circle of high-profile actors.

The probe into the death of the growing thespian has been unveiling series twists during its course as the investigation which was initially carried out by the CBI and law enforcement had later roped in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after the phases of investigations had revealed the grounds of the drug syndicate and  high- profile nexus in the country's wealthiest movie industry.

The probe against Rhea Chakraborty, the girlfriend of Rajput, was the spark of illegal racket and its thread has now circled against high-profile Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone, Rakul Preet Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor as these actors have now been summoned by the NCB to appear for the investigation in connection to the drug racket. Along with these four stars, fashion designer Simone Khambatta has also been summoned.

In what has become a stunning development, the NCB has issued the summons on Wednesday and according to ANI, Deepika Padukone has been issued with the summon to appear before the anti-drug agency on September 25 whereas Shraddha Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan have been directed to appear on September 26. Deepika was summoned based on the WhatsApp conservations in which the star was purportedly discussing cannabis.

Deepika was reportedly discussing the drugs with her manager Karishma Prakash, who works for the Kwan talent management agency. By capturing the conversations of the actress with her manager, the NCB had already summoned Karishma Prakash and Dhruv Chitgopekar, the CEO of the Kwan talent management, in connection to the case.

The WhatsApp conversations came to light when the NCB was interrogating Jaya Saha, who was Sushant's talent manager, who also works with the Kwan agency. When the authorities probed Jaya Saha, they had sieved Saha's mobile phone during which they recovered the chats and conversations on procuring the drugs that directed them towards Karishma Prakash, the manager of Deepika Padukone. According to reports, Kwan talent management agency has contracts with many top Bollywood actors and actresses and Deepika Padukone was one among them.

The names of Sara Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor reportedly came up during the probe carried out against Rajput's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. The CBI has also recorded the statement of Jaya Sahan and Rajput's manager Shruti Modi on several occasions during the ongoing probe. So far, the NCB has arrested over 12 people in connection to drugs nexus including Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty.

Rhea Chakraborty, a 28-year-old actor, was accused of arranging drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput. The Chakrabortys have been lodged under judicial custody till October 6. Rhea had admitted that she would party with Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sushant at the latter's Lonavala farmhouse, which had now brought three actors and Deepika Padukone under the scanner of the anti-drug agency.
