Suriya, the versatile actor who is known for his diverse roles will be working with Ravikumar, the director of the upcoming sci-fi comedy Ayalaan. The director is known for Indru Netru Naalai, the time travel flick released in 2015.

Ravikumar revealed this exciting news in a recent interview, where he said, “I have narrated a story to Suriya sir. It’s a science fiction movie. We have planned to do the project under Dream Warrior Pictures. This upcoming film will take off based on Suriya sir’s commitments.” He also added that the script is ready and the pre-production work will begin soon.

Suriya, who is currently busy with Kanguva, a periodic fantasy entertainer directed by Siva, will start shooting for Suriya 43, with Sudha Kongara, later this month. He also has Vaadivaasal, a rural drama directed by Vetrimaaran, in his pipeline. It's also worth mentioning that the actor has already done a sci-fi based time travel flick, 24 back in 2016.

Meanwhile, Ravikumar is gearing up for the release of his second film Ayalaan, which is slated to hit the screens on January 12th as a Pongal treat for the fans. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan as a compassionate farmer who encounters an alien who has landed on Earth for a mysterious mission. 

The film explores how their goals align and whether they succeed in their quest. The film boasts of an impressive star cast, including Karunakaran, Yogi Babu, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar, David Broughton-Davies, Banupriya, Balasaravanan, Kothandam, and Rahul Madhav.

Ayalaan is produced by KJR Studios, with Ezhumalaiyan. T as the executive producer. The film also marks the collaboration of A R Rahman and Nirav Shah, who composed the music and handled the cinematography respectively. The film also features the work of Ruben (editor), Muthuraj.R (production designer), Anbariv (action director), and Bejoy Arputharaj and Phantom FX (VFX).

The film is expected to be a visual spectacle with stunning graphics and animation. The trailer of the film, which was released quite recently, received a positive response from the audience and the critics alike. The film is also dubbed in Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
