'DMK Files': TN BJP chief Annamalai flares a shocking allegation against MK Stalin!

Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai has on Friday - April 14 unleashed an attack against the state ruling DMK party and its leaders. Under the title 'DMK Files', Annamalai has released the assets value of Chief Minister MK Stalin, his family, and senior DMK leaders. As part of his drive to release what he calls the graft list committed by the DMK, Annamalai has flared a shocking allegation against MK Stalin.

Addressing a press conference at Tamil Nadu BJP headquarters in Chennai on Friday, Annamalai has claimed that Chief Minister MK Stalin has accepted money to the tune of Rs 200 crore from an Indo-European company. By citing that he would move a petition with this regard to the CBI, Annamalai went on to say that DMK has become a money laundering company and that he would expose all the DMK leaders.

On Friday, Annamalai released Part 1 of DMK files and said that there would be a serious of exposes in coming days. Courting a fresh controversy, Annamalai has also vowed that he will release the corruption details of BJP's ally ADMK. Annamalai has been voicing against an alliance with ADMK in the upcoming polls, though the central BJP leadership has asserted that the alliance would continue.

The first part of the video had allegedly shown the irregularities and inconsistencies in the assets and properties of DMK leaders - Jagatratchagan, EV Velu, Kanimozhi, KN Nehru, Kalanidhi Maran, TR Baalu, Kalanithi Veerasamy, Durai Murugan, Kathir Anand, and K Ponmudy. The video had also showcased the luxurious vehicles used by MK Stalin's family and their prices.

In the midst of releasing the first episode of the DMK Files, Annamalai broke his silence on his 'Rafale' watch by offering a new story and providing its invoice. Annamalai has been surfaced with intense attacks from the DMK over his luxurious watch that was made from the parts of Rafale aircraft. Last December, DMK leader and Tamil Nadu Minister Senthil Balaji said that Annamalai wears a watch that costs Rs 5 lakh.

While addressing the reporters, Annamalai said that he bought the Rafale watch from his friend Cheralathan Ramakrishnan, who is based in Kerala. Though the debate over his watch has been brewing for a long time, it is the first time that Annamalai has come up with a name of a person from whom he bought the watch. Providing the invoice for the watch in the press conference, Annamalai has claimed that Ramakrishnan has bought the Rafale watch in March 2021 and he bought the same from him in May 2021.

Displaying what he claimed as an invoice, Annamalai said he bought the watch from Ramakrishnan for Rs 3 lakhs on May 27, 2021. Annamalai's statement and invoice have sparked a fresh debate over his intention not to disclose these details when the issue actually arose. Besides this watch story, Annamalai has also divulged about his political life. Addressing the press conference, Annamalai said that his house rent charges are being paid by his friends. In a first-of-its-kind statement, Annamalai went on to say that even the petrol expenses for his car and the salary for his staff are also paid by his friends.
