DMK MLA's son has passed away due to COVID-19: Stalin and TN CM EPS pay tribute!

Senior DMK leader and party's MLA from Saidapet constituency M Subramanian's younger son Anbalagan has passed away in Chennai on Saturday at the age of 34 due to the COVID-19 viral infection. Following the demise, the state political leaders have been paying condolences to the legislator's family on the sudden development that saddened his family and the party members. 

According to reports, Subramanian's son Anbalagan was a speech impaired and was suffering from autism since childhood. He had been taken care of by his mother and he was confined on the bed and his mother had taken care of all the essential needs of her son. His father Subramanian is one of the senior leaders of DMK close to MK Stalin and he has been serving as an MLA from Saidapet, Chennai. 

Known for his fitness and campaign for fitness, Subramanian had served as the Chennai Mayor. On September 28, Subramanian and his wife had tested positive for the COVID-19 viral infection and the duo had self-isolated themselves at the residence and following the development, his family members had got tested and his elder son Anbalagan was confirmed to have contracted to the pandemic. 

Anbalagan was admitted to King's Institute in Guindy, Chennai for further treatments. He was hospitalized for over ten days and his health had deteriorated and he had breathed his last on Saturday at the age of 34. According to reports close to the developments, Anbalagan had tested negative for COVID-19 three days ago but he later developed lung complications and passed away at the hospital. 

Anbalagan was an ardent fan of Superstar Rajinikanth and he used to watch Rajini movies and depict like him. His demise had shocked Subramanian's family and saddened the DMK party members and people close to the legislator. The 60-year-old legislator has been filled with grief after losing his son due to COVID-19. Anbalagan has a 37-year-old elder brother. 

After the demise of Subramanian's son was headlined, state political leaders have been paying their tributes to the legislators. DMK President MK Stalin, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami, and Deputy Chief Minister Panneerselvam have paid their condolences to DMK's MLA.
