DMK MLA's son wedding: You would be surprised by the venue...It's MK Stalin's house!

In a first of its kind incident in Tamil Nadu, the residence of the Chief Minister, one of the power centres in Tamil Nadu, is going to host the wedding of the party's MLA' son. It was a surprise announcement to the fellow party leaders and cadres that the Chief Minister's house would be turning into a wedding hall. 

DMK MLA Palaniyandi, who is elected to the assembly from the Srirangam constituency in Trichy, has on Wednesday announced that his son's wedding will be taking place on Friday -September 10 in Chief Minister MK Stalin's residence in Chennai. The announcement had become the talk of the town for its venue and following the wedding, Palaniyandi's family has arranged for a grand reception in Trichy. 

According to our sources, the wedding, on the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, will be taking place in MK Stalin's residence in Chittaranjan Road, Teynampet, Chennai and the occasion will be attended by 50 people including Stalin and senior DMK leaders. Following the wedding, the MLA has said that the reception will be conducted in Vayalur, Trichy on September 12th. 

Taking to Twitter, DMK MLA Palaniyandi has solicited the leaders to grace the occasion and to bless the newlyweds. By citing the order from MK Stalin, Palaniyandi has appealed to everyone not to erect flex boards and banners in connection to the wedding and its venue of the Chief Minister's residence.
