The end of Vikas Dubey...Tamil Nadu IPS Officer wrote the climax!

The police encounter of Gangster Vikas Dubey is the talk of the nation as the history-sheeter with a tag of one of the most wanted hooligans was gunned down by the Special Task Force (STF) personnel of Uttar Pradesh on the morning hours of Friday when he attempted to flee from the custody by snatching the pistol of a policeman.

The convoy of the special team was carrying Vikas Dubey from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh to Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on Friday, a week after the Uttar Pradesh police launched an intense manhunt to apprehend the gangster in the case of killing eight police officers including a Deputy Superintendent of Police on July 3, when they approached the gangster to arrest him. 

The sudden shoot out from the thugs on July 3 had also injured seven other officers. Following the shocking developments, the Uttar Pradesh State Police had installed special teams to arrest the gangster who was at large. While the special teams had gunned down five gang members of the gangster, Vikas Dubey was under the intense scanner and the government has announced it would offer Rs 5 lakh for his arrest.

Following the search, the special teams had detained Vikas Dubey in the Mahakal Temple in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain on Thursday -July 9. After the arrest, he was put in the convoy vehicle to Lucknow amid tight security. When the convoy reached Barra Police circle in Kanpur, the vehicle in which Vikas Dubey was on had overturned on road due to heavy rains. 

Vikas Dubey and four police officers were injured in this event, according to the police. However, Vikas Dubey had used the prospect of the mishap to flee the spot after which reportedly snatched the pistol from the police officer. In return, the policemen carried the shoot out in retaliation and shot Vikas Dubey in his chest and heart. He was taken to the hospital and he was pronounced dead. The police said that the gangster was killed in an encounter, bringing the story of one of the most-wanted hooligans to an end.

The Uttar Pradesh Police department has carried out an aggressive manhunt to arrest the gangster after his gang gunned down eight police officers. According to our sources, Kanpur Senior Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar has played an important role in framing the strategies to arrest Vikas Dubey and Dinesh Kumar kept his scanner on the circles of Dubey with the motive of detaining the gangster.

Notably, Dinesh Kumar is a native of Salem, Tamil Nadu and he has been accredited for being one of the pivotal reasons behind detaining Vikas Dubey. As part of the operation, two deputy commissioners, two sub-inspectors, and a head constable were sacked from their posting and suspended for reportedly helping Vikas Dubey. The police had circled some of the thugs of the gangster and they encountered them.

People inside Dubey's circle were closely surveilled and some of them were arrested and the police carried out the investigation to detain Vikas Dubey. With the intense investigation and lookout, the special team of Police had zeroed the gangster in Madhya Pradesh and he was killed in an encounter as retaliation while he was brought to Uttar Pradesh. 

SSP Dinesh Kumar, one of the important police officers behind the operation, belongs to Salem, Tamil Nadu. He was appointed as the Kanpur SSP on June 15, 2020, and he has strategized to arrest Dubey and within a week of the manhunt, the gangster was arrested. He has been serving as a senior IPS officer since 2013 and he joined civil service in 2009. He has been conferred with the DGs Commendation Disc Silver award on Jan 26, 2019.
