This famed star villain to join Vijay in Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Thalapathy 68’! Here's what we know

Ever since the announcement of 'Thalapathy 68', the movie starring  Vijay and directed by Venkat Prabhu, the anticipation has been palpable. Fans and movie buffs alike are eagerly waiting for what promises to be an absolute cinematic treat. The film, which is produced by AGS Entertainment and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is expected to be a multi-starrer with a huge ensemble cast.

The latest buzz is that Aravind Swamy, the versatile actor who has worked with Venkat Prabhu in his previous film ‘Custody’, has been roped in to play a pivotal role in ‘Thalapathy 68’. According to sources, the actor has given his nod to the project and will be joining the shoot soon.

Aravind Swamy, who made his debut with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Thalapathi’ in 1991, has been part of several acclaimed films such as ‘Roja’, ‘Bombay’, and ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’. He is also known for his negative roles in films like ‘‘Thani Oruvan’ and ‘Bogan’. It is not clear yet whether he will be playing a friend or a foe to Vijay in ‘Thalapathy 68’.

If the reports are true, then this will be the first time that Aravind Swamy and Vijay will be sharing screen space. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the chemistry between the two actors, who have a huge fan following across the country.
