In what has become a massive update, the ardent fans of Thala Ajith is anticipating a big musical treat from Thala 61 as the actor is going to join hands with the popular music director for the first time in his career. Ajith's upcoming movie 'Valimai' is progressing at a steady pace and it would probably be packed to serve to the fans within this year. Valimai is one of the widely expected movies of Ajith across and beyond the borders and amid being at the final stage, the actor is getting ready for what has been tentatively named 'Thala 61'.

Valimai is produced by Boney Kapoor under the banner of Bayview Projects and directed by H Vinoth. While Ajith plays the lead role, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu, and Karthikeya will be playing the important roles, and the music for Valimai is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Recently, the movie posters and first single were released which put the fans in agog as they are eagerly awaiting to watch the movie, which is the second consecutive movie for Ajith, H Vinoth, and Boney Kapoor after 'Neer Konda Parvai'. 

Valimai's shooting is nearing its conclusion with just one major final schedule of shooting that will be taking place in Russia a few weeks from now. After this schedule, it will be a wrap with just one step of final production works to the release. The fans expect that the movie could be released for Diwali this year. Ajith is getting ready for his next movie after Valimai and the news had recently broken out that Thala 61 will be also be directed and produced by H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor respectively. 

The initial talks had begun for Thala 61 and it has been reported that Thala 61 will go to the floors for shooting in the last quarter of this year. As the movie team has been in the process of finalizing the crew, it has now been said that Ajith will be working with popular music director Ghibran for the first time. The reports close to the developments had said that Thala 61 has roped in Ghibran to compose music and an official announcement concerning Ghibran's entry will be made when the project goes to the floors. 

Ghibran is one of the prominent music directors in the Indian cinema industry, having been attained fame through some of his wonderful works. He has composed music for some of the hit movies including Vaagai Sooda Vaa, Uttama Villain, Papanasam, Thoongaavanam, Aramm, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Vishwaroopam 2, Raatchasan, Kadaram Kondan, and Ka Pae Ranasingam. His last movie was Madhavan starred 'Maara' that was released on Amazon Prime Video earlier this year. With the record-breaking feat, Ghibran is all set to join hands with Ajith for the first time through Thala 61, as the fans await and big and surprise musical treat.
