'The govt is working to address these twin issues': MK Stalin asserts and grooms the TN youngsters!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has on Wednesday - May 25 asserted that his government has been working to address the twin issues faced by the youngsters - unemployment and employability. He has also highlighted that the youngsters must be groomed to become talented professionals. 

The Chief Minister was addressing an event after launching the maiden State-level skilling programme for the youngsters of a college in the city. According to PTI, MK Stalin has said, "Youngsters are the backbone of the nation whose development depends on themselves. Compared to other countries, India accounts for a fair population of the youths in the age group of 18 to 35."

He further said, "Youngsters should be groomed to become talented. That is, create a youth sakthi through education - both formal and higher education." He affirmed that in the process of their grooming, it has to be ensured that the youngsters get jobs as per their qualifications and get a decent remuneration.

By asserting that the government is working to address the twin issues of unemployment and employability, MK Stalin has vowed his administration in the state has been involved in facilitating the wheel of fortune to make it shine as a skill-based state in the country. He has stated that by ensuring a contented life for the youths, they would work hard and give their best to the nation.

"This DMK government is functioning in such a way to facilitate this wheel of fortune. Several of our schemes are framed keeping this in mind and also to address the problems of unemployment and employability", he added. He said that creating jobs through new initiatives and providing a skilled force is what his dream project Naan Mudhalvan aims at. 

He stated that this programme is the next level of the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Mission launched by former Chief Minister Karunanidhi in 2010. He further urged the youngsters to get benefitted from the government programmes. At the event, he had launched the pavilions for Self-Help Groups (SHG) products on the occasion and the SHG exhibition at the college would be conducted till May 29.
