From group dance to push-up challenge: It's Rahul Gandhi's day out in TN...Watch the video!

Amid going through the challenging times over reaching the deal with the DMK on the fronts of seat-sharing and constituencies for the upcoming assembly polls in Tamil Nadu, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been finding prospects to make his Tamil Nadu tour memorable on the sidelines of the campaign events.

From taking part in the village-based events to interacting with the students, Rahul Gandhi has been unfolding the never-witnessed-before gestures and presenting the state that he can't only be limited to campaigns. The Congress leader has been very keen to drive the party towards the political breakthrough in the state in the upcoming polls as the grand old party is in a state that it needs to be revived from the fallen grounds failing which it will plummet further, powering the BJP to give a major blow for the party.

In an unprecedented fashion, Rahul Gandhi has been touring Tamil Nadu extensively and amid the deadlock with the DMK over the seat-sharing and constituencies, the Congress leader has been sounding more hopeful to resurge in the state. Rahul Gandhi has currently been on his second Tamil Nadu tour and he has been campaigning in southern districts where the party has strongholds. Rahul has come to the state with the itinerary to cover the three southern districts - Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, and Kanyakumari.

On Saturday, Rahul Gandhi has arrived in the state and after completing his first two legs of the tour, he arrived in Kanyakumari on Monday for the final leg of his tour. He was given a rousing welcome by the Congress leaders and members and he began his roadshow and during the stretch of his roadshow, Rahul Gandhi has staunchly slammed the Central ruling BJP and the state ruling ADMK.

During his address, Rahul Gandhi said that Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami must not let RSS insult Tamil culture. The Congress leader said, "He (CM) must not let RSS insult Tamil culture. Modi says '1 nation, 1 culture, 1 history'. Is Tamil not an Indian language? Is Tamil history not Indian or is Tamil culture not Indian? As an Indian, it's my duty to protect Tamil culture". Rahul Gandhi went on to say that Delhi has got a Chief Minister who does everything they say.

Rahul Gandhi said, "Edappadi Palaniswami doesn't represent State, he represents what Modi wants him to do. A person who bows before only Modi can't represent Tamil Nadu". He stated that "This election is about giving a message. First is, that our country is a country of different religions, cultures, languages, histories & we respect all that. We don't accept Narendra Modi's & RSS' attempt to humiliate & crush Tamil culture, language & Tamil history".

"I was told that when Kamaraj ji died, his entire belongings were in 1 small suitcase. A leader like him truly represents Tamil people and their aspirations. He'd fight for his people, that's the kind of leader you need as Chief Minister", Rahul Gandhi added. Following the roadshow, the Congress leader went to St.Joseph's Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Mulagumoodu in Kanyakumari to interact with them. He was accompanied by senior Congress leaders Dinesh Gundu Rao and Tamil Nadu Congress Chief KS Alagiri.

While interacting with the students, Rahul Gandhi had begun to dance with the students of the school. In what has become a group dance, Rahul Gandhi danced with some of the students, and the Congress leaders had also joined him on the stage and danced along with him. Apart from dancing, Rahul Gandhi had given more surprises to the students through his gestures as he had involved in the push-up challenge with a student.

"Can you do push-ups? Let's try 15?", Rahul Gandhi was asked by Merolin Shenigha, a class 10 student. After leaving a smile, Rahul Gandhi got ready for the task. Both of them had performed the challenge on the stage and Rahul Gandhi had stopped at one step while the girl kept going. Finally, Rahul said, "She wins". He had asked the girl student to try push-up in one hand. He even did one push-up with one hand and amazed the crowd which lauded his gesture. Rahul Gandhi had also performed 'Aikido', martial art, with a student and presented everyone with a memorable event. The video of Rahul Gandhi's gestures has been getting rampantly spread over social media.

Earlier, when Rahul Gandhi visited Kochi, Kerala, he took everyone by surprise by swimming along with the fishermen, and recently, when he came to Tamil Nadu for the first election tour for the upcoming polls, Rahul Gandhi had met the members of a popular Youtube channel 'Village Cooking Channel' and prepared Mushroom Biriyani with them and the visuals had gone viral across and beyond the borders.

Rahul Gandhi has been in the political spotlight through these unprecedented gestures amid campaigning and negotiating with the DMK over seat-sharing and constituencies in the assembly polls. Tamil Nadu will go to single-phase polls on April 6 and the votes will be counted on May 2 during which the winner will be announced. The state will most likely witness four to five fronts - ADMK and its alliance, DMK and its alliance, Kamal Haasan- Sarathkumar, Dhinakaran's AMMK, and Seeman's Naam Tamilar party.
