Happy 41st Birthday MS Dhoni...A look at a wave of wishes from sports stars and leaders!

The years are passing by and the age is ascending but, indisputably, legendary cricketer MS Dhoni remains one of the favourite cricket icons for millions across and beyond the borders. On July 7- Thursday, Dhoni has celebrated his 41st birthday and for his fans, it has been a moment to float their icon on their love and respect, and indeed with their heartfelt wishes. 

Dhoni enjoys a borderless fan community across all ages and by celebrating the birthday of the world-cup-winning captain, they will reminisce the golden memories of his cricket and his contribution to Indian cricket as the finest sports star. Dhoni has benchmarked as a glorious captain of Indian cricket and he handed over his Test captaincy to Virat Kohli in 2017 and he has retired from cricket on August 15, 2020. 

Dhoni played 350 ODIs with his highest score being 183 against Sri Lanka. He also stays the only captain to win all major ICC trophies.  He was referred to as 'Captain Cool'. As Dhoni turned 41, hymns started pouring in on Twitter and several cricketers and leaders are lining up with their wishes to Dhoni, whose cricket is now been bordered in the IPL  as a skipper of Chennai Super Kings. 

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin took to Twitter and wrote, "Happy Birthday MS Dhoni! Your unparalleled achievements have given hope to millions of youngsters from humble rural backgrounds to pursue their dreams. Eagerly waiting to see you play again in our own #Chennai." The Chennai Super Kings wrote a sweet birthday note to its king - "And the clock strikes 12! The party begins at Anbuden! Super Birthday to you, Thala." 

In its greetings, BCCI wrote, "An idol & an inspiration. Here's wishing MS Dhoni - former Team India Captain & one of the finest to have ever graced the game - a very happy birthday." Veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh wrote, "Very very happy birthday to you @msdhoni My best wishes are always with you! Have the most wonderful year ahead. Love always". 

Popular cricketer Suresh Raina took to Twitter and wrote, "Happy Birthday to my big brother. Thank you for being my biggest supporter and mentor in every phase of life, may God bless you and your family with good health always. Much love to you Mahi Bhai. Wishing you a great year ahead!" Hardik Pandya wrote, "My darling. Wishing you the best birthday Mahi Bhai." In his greeting, Jasprit Bumrah wrote, "A guide, confidante and leader. Thank you for everything you’ve done for Indian cricket  Happy birthday Mahi Bhai, I hope you have a day as special as you." 

Batsman Shikhar Dhawan wrote, "The cricket world is brighter only because of you! Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Mahi Bhai." Netflix India wrote, "Happy birthday MS Dhoni. You always know how to finish a series in style." Dhoni's wife Sakshi shared a glimpse of Dhoni's cake-cutting event in their residence and the video is getting shared rampantly on social media. In the video, Dhoni can be seen cutting the cake and, in the background, a big banner read: Happy Birthday Mahi.
