"Hard work pays off": Actor Vikram shares a heartwarming note as he hits a big milestone...Watch the video!

Popular actor Vikram, who is known for his versatility, has hit a big milestone as he steps into his 33rd year of a successful and stellar cinematic journey. He completed 32 years on Monday - October 17 and to share the milestone with his fans and people, he posted a stroking message and a special video commemorating his three decades working in the film industry on social media. 

"Thank you for these 32 years", he wrote. The Chiyaan actor last appeared in Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan, which is still rocking theatres with full audiences. The actor took to Twitter on Monday and posted a video, which is a compilation of his three decades in the film world. In a heartwarming note, he wrote, "All these years, so many dreams. It is said that hard work pays off." 

"If you weren't here, it would've been just hard work. Thank you for these 32 years & Abhinandan KK. Thank you for your lovely edit", he added. The video, which runs over a minute, dedicates some of the hard-working actor's milestone projects, glimpses from his notable avatars from Sethu, Gemini, Anniyan, Dhool, Pithamagan, I, Deiva Thirumagal, Raavanan, Irumugan, Cobra, and the latest Ponniyin Selvan. 

The actor has released glimpses of his speeches in the video in which he said, "Cinema didn't work. So I worked as a model for an advertisement for Chola Tea, which is a Chola king''. Before the movie's release, netizens went crazy over Chiyaan's rise from modelling for Chola tea to playing a Chola prince under Maniratnam's guidance. Before plunging into acting, Vikram had previously served as the face of Chola tea, the poster for their advertisement featuring the actor dressed as a king was shown in the video. 

Vikram debuted in Kollywood in 1992, with the film, En Kadhal Kanmani, which got released on 17th October 1992. The actor will next be seen in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram, which was put on hold for so long, and Pa Ranjith's Chiyaan 61, a 3D movie based on the true story of Tamil KGF miners in British India that is produced by Studio Green and is set against the backdrop of Kolar Gold Fields.
