Has Bharath remedied himself from the setbacks? 'Kaalidas' review!

A specific area in Chennai accounts for the mysterious deaths of some of the women who die by falling from the stairs of the building. Kaalidas (Actor Bharath) is the inspector who was appointed to probe the deaths and to expose the mysteries. Since being appointed in the hectic and crucial role, Bharath fails to heed his family and he has been into the case for the whole day by not finding the time to stay with his wife. Ann Sheetal, the wife of Bharath, after getting angered and despaired on Bharath's ignorance,  got acquaintance with Aadhav Kannadhasan, the new tenant in their flats. Aadhav and Ann come closer by taking the absence of Bharath for granted. On the other hand, Bharath was desperate to reveal the cause behind the death, he has been accompanied by higher police official Suresh Menon, who joins with Bharath to enhance the investigations to expose the mysteries behind the deaths.

The movie 'Kaalidas' directed by Sri Senthil reveals what's the secret behind the series of deaths, what happened to the romantic acquaintance between Ann and Aadhav through the combinations of suspense, investigative thriller, iconic vibrations, and surprises. The movie and the acting of Bharath give surprises for the fans who sat before the big screens without any expectations on Bharath like his previous movies. The police role of Bharath, unlike the usual tone of giving buildups, travels with peaceful, clear and matured acting so does the screenplay of the movie.

Actor Bharath in the movie 'Kaalidas'

The movie starts with the death scene that had brought in more curiosity and the investigations after the scene kept the thirst and puzzle alive. The team of Bharath and Suresh Menon pictures the moderate and rarely witnessed acts that had certainly live up to the perfection. The personal conversations and the comedic scenes of constables help in moving the film in the middle of the series of investigations.

There are two important factors that would ascertain the victories for these suspense movies, firstly, the puzzle of suspense and keeping the puzzle alive till the end and secondly, the credible and surprising revelation of the puzzle after getting exposed. The suspense movies which delivered justice to these two factors would thrive among the audience and attain huge success. In that nature, the first half of the movie 'Kaalidas' met with success while the second half has loosened the grip to hold the rope of success.

                                    Ann Sheetal

The movie has been best attempted by Bharath in his second innings as he pictures himself as the right choice for the role by presenting the combination of police-sized physique and the maturity. He has shown full adulthood in handling his wife, who shows more anger and disrespect towards him. Suresh Menon, the higher official of Bharath, had attracted through his stylish and silence approach while Ann Sheetal has perfectly expressed her disappointment and anxiety and her acquaintance Aadhav Kannadhasan balanced his role.

Through this movie, director Sri Senthil would inevitably be placed in the list of potential directors of Tamil Cinema as he overwhelmingly scripted the story with curiosity and surprise. Music director Vishal Chandrasekhar has efficaciously handled two patterns. The music surrounding the deaths and suspense had increased the heartbeat of the audience while he played the music that had delivered justice for the loneliness of the actress and his music had indeed added more strength for the movie but despite that, the 'Aadavan' song had repeatedly torn the ears of the audiences and the cameras of Suresh Bala had perfectly captured and presented the sense of the thriller and the artwork of Kennedy and Bharath's house had drawn attention from the audience.

Bharath played as a cop for the first time in the movie 'Kaalidas'

The movie shocking pictured the truth that what would happen if the tones of time and happiness during the love have disappeared after the marriage and it also portrays the dreadful impact of the overthinking that seemingly slipped away from the track of credibility. 'Kaalidas' is certainly a good and must watch thriller and suspense movie if these lapses can be tolerated. Overall, we can say that the movie has given a perfect comeback for actor Bharath.
