The town has already been pumped up for the upcoming film with an electrifying combo of Vetri Maaran and Suriya, who join hands for Vaadivaasal, a film based on the novel by CS Chellapa. The film, which revolves around the ancient sport of Jallikattu, has been creating a lot of buzz ever since it was announced. The film stars Suriya in the lead role, who will be seen as a fearless bull-tamer.

In adding to a surprising reveal, Vetri Maaran’s production house shared a picture of the director meeting Ameer, who will be playing a pivotal role in the film. The picture shows the two filmmakers having a lively and friendly chat, which has gone viral on social media.

The production house took to X, and captioned the picture as “Director #VetriMaaran met Director #Ameer to discuss his role in #Vaadivaasal. The prominence of his role in the script has increased during the writing process and is tailor made for Director #Ameer. He is irreplaceable as an actor in the film."

Ameer, is also a renowned director known for films like Ram, Paruthiveeran, Yogi and Aadhi Bhagavan. He is known for his realistic and intense performances, which will surely add value to Vaadivaasal. The film is produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu under his banner ‘V Creations’. The film is expected to release in 2024.

Last year, the makers released a special footage featuring Suriya participating in the traditional Tamil sport of 'Jallikattu', where he bravely battled with the bulls. It was an impressive display of courage and strength, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of our region.

GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music, and he announced that this film will be his 75th film. It's worth noting that the composer also worked with Suriya's Purananooru with Sudha Kongara, which will be his 100th film.
