Director Bala's sudden decision to cut national award winner Suriya from his next project, titled "Vanangaan," came as a complete shock a few days ago. They were to be back together after the massive success of 2003's 'Pithamagan. However, things weren't looking up, and they eventually split up from the project.

Reports have surfaced that the director is currently negotiating with this actor who already played the hero in Bala's previous film. Adharva, who plays the lead in Paradesi directed by Bala, is in talks to play Suriya's role in the upcoming film. There has been no official word yet. The film was originally to be produced by Suriya's 2D Productions, and more than 40 days of shooting had passed. However, since they parted ways, it's unversed about the new production house, which is to bankroll the film after the changes.

Director Bala reportedly teamed up with 'Aruvi' helmer Arun Prabhu Purushothaman last month to rework the script. According to earlier confirmed reports, Krithi Shetty will play the female lead role, GV Prakash Kumar to compose the film's score, and Balasubramaniem will be in charge of cinematography.

Other than that, Atharvaa was last seen in Pattathu Arasan with RajKiran. In 2013, he worked with Bala on the critically acclaimed film Paradesi, which is about the struggles and enslavement of people who work in the Tea plantation industry. Address, Othaikku Othai, and Nirangal Moondru are some of the upcoming projects in the pipeline for the actor.
