Beyond being one of the efficient actors in the Tamil cinema industry, Actor Surya has been making his life and career to be efficacious for the current generation particularly to students as he has been deeply involving and concentrating towards the upliftment of the education standards of the rural and backward students who are struggling to get equal educations. 

He has been fulfilling the educational dreams of thousands of students across the state through his Agaram foundation which focuses on the elevation of the students from the difficulties. On Thursday, he fulfilled one of the dreams of the young age students - to fly on air and he released a song from his next movie 'Soorarai Pottru' on the air in the presence of the kids and the movie team.

Soorarai Pottru has been ascending the expectations from his fans and the audience. The movie has been directed by Sudha Kongara and it has been trending before the release after it becomes the first Tamil movie to launch the audio on the flight. The launch of the first single 'Veyyon Silli' took place onboard the SpiceJet flight that carried the movie team members and 70 children from various government schools. The reports say that these 70 children were chosen based on the essay writing competition on their biggest dreams and they had their first flying experience on Thursday after they flown for 45 minutes onboard SpiceJet Boeing 737.

Actor Surya and Chairman and Managing Director of the SpiceJet Ajay Singh were present during the launch and throughout the flight, the guests were shown the visual of the song. A few days back, the production unit of the movie had announced about the on flight audio launch and Surya has planned to take government school children onboard during the launch. Apart from the mid-air audio launch, Surya has become the second actor in Tamil cinema after Rajinikanth to have the livery on the flight. On Thursday, a special SpiceJet flight had displayed the film poster on its outer layer.

After the 45-minutes-long flight, the passengers disembarked the plane at the Chennai International Airport. The movie was based on the life of former Indian captain GR Gopinath who was the founder of Air Deccan, one of the low-cost airlines in the country and the movie has been produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Bollywood producer Guneet Monga.

The music was composed by GV Prakash Kumar and artists like Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal, and Mohan Babu have played in lead roles. Surya would be playing the role of a pilot in the movie. 2D Entertainment has posted the photos in its official Twitter account and it stated that "Creating History in the world of cinema by releasing Veyyon Silli mid-air".
