"I have the freedom to do what I want" Vignesh Shivan about Ajith for his next AK62 !

Ajith Kumar and Thalapathy Vijay, two of the top heroes of Tamil cinema are releasing their films for the upcoming Pongal festival. Both Varisu team and Thunivu team are busy with promotion work by releasing new posters and daily updates about the films. Now the heads are all on Vignesh Shivan as the ultimate star will begin filming AK62 with the director.

AK 62 is being produced under the banner of Lyca Productions, and Anirudh will be composing the music. According to rumours circulating in Kollywood, the female protagonist in AK62 will be played by Nayanthara, While Ajith has been acting in serious films lately, there are reports that AK62 will be a feel good film.

Recently Vignesh Sivan in an popular media outket, spoke about the film, he said that Ajith told him that he should make the film in his own style, which given him an immense confidence. He said, "The first instruction that came to me is, You do your film. You do the film you want to do freely.' So, that's why I have no pressure, whether this will work or not, there's no doubt from any side and I'm working under zero pressure. I have the freedom to do what I want. So, I think I'll be able to deliver something good."

He furtherly added that, "I haven't done any action films so far. My style is unique. The film will be like Naanum Rowdy Than, and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal". Tentatively called AK 62, However, before that, he will take a brief break by touring in his bike across the continents.

There were rumblings that Ajith would play an organic farmer who battles corporate interests to provide healthy food to the people in this flick. Another interesting rumour is that Dhanush will play the main villain, and that he will be a crazed villain. However, the official confirmation has not yet been given, and it is possible that it will be made available sometime after Thunivu's release and in the early part of 2023.
