Superstar Rajinikanth's surprise video message to his ailing fan has been going viral. In a video that runs for thirty seconds, the iconic actor wishes his fan a speedy recovery and expressed his regret for not coming in person. His video message has been rampantly shared and thousands of fans and fraternities are praising the actor for his love and kindness towards his fans.

According to reports, Sowmya is an ardent fan of Rajinikanth. A native of Bangalore, she has been battling her ill health and hospitalized in a private hospital in the city. After receiving information that she wishes to see Rajinikanth, the superstar has released a video message to her and said that he will pray for her. Rajinikanth said, "Hello Sowmya, how are you? Don't worry, you will be alright soon." 

The Superstar further said, "Sorry kanna, I couldn't visit you in person because of the Covid situation and my health is also not really well. Otherwise, I would have come to see you for sure. Be strong, God is there and I will pray for you. Look at how beautiful your smile is. Don't worry kanna, you will be fine soon". Several social media users had lauded the gesture of the actor towards his fans. 

Rajinikanth has recently celebrated his 71st birthday with his family members in his residence in Chennai. His birthday pictures were going super viral and he was last seen in Annaatthe, directed by Siva. The movie has become a successful movie in Tamil in 2021 at the box office, though it had garnered mixed reviews. Produced by Sun Pictures, Annaatthe had brought in an ensemble cast and recently, the actor had a brief hospitalization in Chennai. It is expected that Rajinikanth will announce his next project soon.
