'I will work again with him': Vikram reveals as he embarks on the 'Cobra' promotional tour!

Popular actor Chiyaan Vikram on Tuesday - August 23 embarked on a nearly-a-week promotional tour for his upcoming movie 'Cobra', which is one of the much-awaited films of the year. It has been slated for a theatrical release on August 31 while the trailer will be unveiled on August 25. Ahead of the movie's release, the Cobra team has come up with a crucial promotional tour of visiting students at various colleges across the state. 

On the first day of the tour, the Cobra team including Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, Mrinalini Ravi, and Meenakshi interacted with the students of St Joseph's College, Trichy, and American College, Madurai. In Trichy, the team had thrown a lovely picture of them with students waving from the background. Vikram took this photo and visuals from Trichy have been going viral on social media.

While interacting with the students in Trichy, Vikram revealed that he will work again with Ajay Gnanamuthu, the director of Cobra. He said that Cobra would be a movie full of emotions and fight sequences after its release, it will become everyone's favourite. "After Pa Ranjith film, I will work again with Ajay for a global appeal script. Watch Cobra FDFS in theatres. Fans are my God... Even though they won't get anything from me, they donate blood & put tattoos of me on their body... I love them", Vikram added. 

The trailer will be launched in Chennai on August 25 and Cobra is being made as an action thriller film. It is bankrolled by SS Lalit Kumar under the banner of 7 Screen Studio and Cobra will be featuring Vikram in twenty looks and it has been touted that one of the characters of Vikram is a Turkish Interpol Officer. While Vikram plays the lead role, former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan plays an antagonist. 

While KGF fame Srinidhi Shetty plays the female lead, Miya George, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, Padmapriya, Mohammad Ali Baig, Kaniha, Mirnalini Ravi, Meenakshi, and K. S. Ravikumar play important roles. Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman has composed music for Cobra. Besides Cobra, both Vikram and AR Rahman await the release of Ponniyin Selvan, which has been slated for a release on September 30.
