On the other hand, the cases booked for kidnapping and abduction in 2018 were about 10.3% more while compared with 2017. Of those total cases of kidnappings and abductions, about 80,871 females and 24,665 males were reportedly kidnapped or abducted and out of which 63,356 (15,250 male and 48,106 female) were children and minors while 42,180 (9,415 male and 32,765 female) were adults.
