IPL 2020: Is Patanjali replacing Vivo as the title sponsor? See what Baba Ramdev wishes for

With just a month away to start the current season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) prepares to see a tough race in finalizing the title sponsor for the IPL after Vivo had taken back its sponsorship amid the nationwide call for banning the Chinese products and mobile applications.

As the title sponsor for the world's wealthiest cricket league still remains vacant, some of the top companies have been bidding for the title sponsor and Patanjali Ayurved has recently joined the club of companies in succeeding Vivo's place. The reports stated that in its prospect of becoming the title sponsor for the IPL, Patanjali must embrace for a heavy competition as many companies like Amazon, Jio, Tata Group, Dream 11, and Byju's have been on the track to hit the deal with the BCCI to grab the slot of prefixing their names before IPL.

Last week, the BCCI had officially announced that it has suspended the partnership with the IPL title sponsors Vivo. BCCI's President Sourav Ganguly maintained that the exit of Vivo as the title sponsor for the 13th season of the IPL shouldn't be seen as a financial crisis.  Amid the speculations, the BCCI has last month announced that the dates of the IPL 2020.

With the new ground and new audience, the BCCI has been in the final stage of preparations to have a sporting journey in the Arab nation without any disturbances amid the COVID-19 global outbreak and the restrictions for the sporting events at the global arena.

The Indian Premier League 2020 will be taking place while the major global events like Olympics 2020 had been canceled this year and deferred for the next year in the wake of the outbreak. According to the reports, the eight teams of the Indian Premier League will be leaving India to the UAE mostly in the last week of August.
