The heart stealer of young hearts, the Oscar winner, the Isai Puyal, and everlasting musical icon AR Rahman is all set to entertain the sea of his fans through his electrifying musical wave that would hit the shores of Tamil cinema during the second half of 2022. Fascinatingly, AR Rahman has been working on a handful of Tamil movies in a short duration for the first time in recent years.

AR Rahman after his over two decades of career in the music industry has recently piled up with new projects, predominately in Tamil. His last project in Tamil was 'Bigil' in 2019. He kept under wraps from Tamil films, but not gave up his discography works, as he worked on Bollywood projects and worked for concerts and music albums, in the meantime, he also legged to work for a short film, 'Karthik Dial Seitha Enn' (Vinnaithandi Varuvaya short sequel) and Netflix's 'Navarasa' - 'Rowthiram', and 'House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths'.  He has also ventured as a writer of the movie '99 Songs' and as a director for 'Le Musk' which is an upcoming Indian virtual reality film for the first time and it premiered at the 75th Cannes festival in France a month ago.

He footprinted in Tamil cinema in 1992 for the 'Roja' film, since then the veteran composer has had projects showered on him throughout the years. Minimally, his film projects were released mostly more than three. The year 2020 and 2021 were the only years in the Tami film industry, with no beats of  A.r. Rahman, were heard. The year 2022 handovers him the lined-up projects in Tamil and makes his fans tune up their speakers to dwell in his jamming tunes. Let's check out his upcoming projects on the cards.
